Joanne Chadwick, UCD
Joanne is the Smart Coasts Project Manager working with the Ireland team in University College Dublin. Joanne was previously a consultant planner with Colin Buchanan after completing a master’s degree in Town and Country Planning at University of West of England in Bristol and the Diploma in Environmental Impact Assessment and Strategic Environmental Assessment Management at UCD. During her time at Colin Buchanan she co-ordinated a number of large scale research and strategic projects. In her current role Joanne is responsible for the overall management of the project and facilitating the delivery of project outcomes.
Paula Hopkins, Aberystwyth University
Paula has been the Administrative Secretary for the Centre for Research into Environment and Health since 1990. Paula is responsible for clerical aspects of Smart Coasts in Wales and has budgetary control on a day-to-day basis. Other responsibilities have included public liaison and recruitment of volunteers for the national sea bathing studies.
